Umami: Taste explosion of the finest

The week before last, I was back in Berlin and was advised by Google Maps as (almost) Level 7 Local Guide to visit this restaurant.

The whole day was already a real experience. First a great date about Okcupid in the nearby park of Potsdamer Platz, then an hour-long bike ride on a Donkey Republic Bike through Berlin. At some point my stomach rumbled through the estimated 30km by bike.

Simple wooden slats inside - cheerful people sit outside.

I found the ambience more than appropriate from the beginning. The people here make a very satisfied and friendly impression. At first sight, one rather thinks of purism and taste in this restaurant.

The friendly but reserved young lady behind the counter quickly took my order:
The large Menu 12 with rice and homemade plum-honey iced tea, grilled pork & beef and rice - spicy - for 12.50 really a fair price with the portion.

After about 7 minutes my order number was called by the announcement system.

For BBQ fans, feast until 10pm!

It's definitely worth the Mmaah Express at Nollendorfstr. 31, Berlin to visit. The dishes are good to share. Otherwise, there is also the possibility to have the delicious dishes delivered directly to your home via Lieferando.

Many thanks for this explosion of taste 🙂
